It is difficult for stray animals to find food and a safe place to sleep on a daily basis. In India, around 30 million stray dogs are fighting for their lives. It’s an incredible number.
Fortunately, despite economic hardship, there are rescue groups like Animal Aid that are determined to help as many animals as possible.
Animal rescuers received a call about a stray dog that had fallen into the street. He couldn’t move. When they arrived, they were amazed at his condition.
Every bone appeared on his body. A caring man, ready to do anything to save his life, he saw that this young dog suffered on a daily basis. But, despite the fact that he was weak and very sick, he managed to wag his tail a little. How to say hello. and thank you. ”
The sweet dog, later named Sparkle, was wrapped in a blanket and gently lifted. It was time to take him to the animal shelter. He needed immediate medical attention.
The vet suspected the dog was suffering from the plague, and he was right. The virus causes diarrhea and loss of appetite. The cute boy lay down on the examination table and patiently let his new human friends help him.
With antibiotics on board, Sparkle needed rest and IV fluids to prevent secondary infections. He was too weak to stand, but quickly accepts.
After five days, he can eat on his own! He loves to be cuddled and petted.
Her new caregivers also begin Sparkle’s physiotherapy treatments. He needs to develop his strength and coordination. He smiles at every physiotherapy session.
Isn’t he adorable?
Twenty days after being rescued, Sparkle is still in shock. But he loves his new friends so much that he takes the first steps alone, smiling, to embrace his tutor.
With continued treatment and great love, Sparkle has improved dramatically. We are very happy that Sparkle not only survived, but is really happy. He will never live on the streets again!
