The cat was 22 years old when she ended up in the shelter.
Her owners had to give her up because they could not take care of him anymore. .
“Our hearts simply melted when we saw the photos of this adorable cat.
We wanted to do everything so that she could live the rest of her life in a loving and caring family.” said the rescuer.
Thanks to all their efforts, the sweet cat was saved as one of the volunteers welcomed the cat into his home.
Upon arrival, Thelma immediately began seeking comfort in blankets and pillows.
Her health was good, except for some problems. She had a urinary tract infection that needed to be treated.
In addition, the sweet cat was put on a diet with the aim of regaining her normal weight.
Thelma quickly adjusted to her new home, finding her favorite cat bed there.
It’s only been 3 weeks, but her fluffy coat has almost completely recovered and she’s back to playing.
She has a great appetite and starts her day by getting out of her favorite bed with a stuffed animal next to her.
She loves being in the sun and can spend hours doing so. Thelma has many hobbies, such as playing with cardboard boxes.
The sweet senior spends most of her time by the window, sunbathing. Her fur is getting shinier and silkier day by day.
She enjoys love from her family and doesn’t need anything to be happier.
