Mountaineers climb Mexico’s highest volcano to save a stray dog

To save the life of this homeless dog, the climbers had to carry out long search and rescue operations. He was rescued by a large group of volunteers who arrived on the scene and rescued the dog and named him Canelo.

The dog had left the group as they attempted to reach the highest peak in the country, Pico de Horisaba.

At first they just fed the poor dog, but he realized that one of the volunteers could become his master and decided to follow them, remaining within sight of the climbers.

But they were disturbed to see the dog coming with them all the time and freezing in the cold and snow.

In the end, their mate reached out and won the title of “Conqueror of the Best”.

But when he returned, the dog was not with them. The dog stayed in the mountains for about a month, in cold weather. Nobody knew why he had been there so long, but luckily he was fed and warmed there, then dropped into their hiking pack.

After being examined by a veterinarian, the dog was placed in an animal shelter. Eventually, thanks to media reports, people paid close attention to the dog and he soon started a new family.
