Very often, when a stray dog ends up on the tracks, the train stops while the authorities remove the dog from there.
The other result is often very regrettable and heartless: the train continues to travel and the passengers feel the roughness of the tracks.
However, for the driver of the Santiago train, the second option was simply unacceptable. He had no intention of killing the poor dog.
Even though he could have asked the staff to clean up and rescue the dog, the engineer instead stopped the train and decided to derail and rescue the dog himself.
The hero slowly approached the frightened dog, he called to him, but when the dog didn’t move, he slowly reached out his hand to the dog hoping he wouldn’t bite him.
The dog waved to rescuers and the handler grabbed the dog and carried him to safety. Another train worker picked up the dog and helped save it.
When the engineer got back on the train, he apologized for being late and said he couldn’t hit the dog. All the passengers applauded the man. He is a true hero!
Not everyone would do it and not everyone would agree to delay the train and the passengers to save the dog. Bravo, true man and hero! If you liked it, share it with your friends and family.
