My mother’s cancer death occurred in 2013, causing our family to experience anguish.
The other five brothers and sisters were still very little, and only her oldest daughter Samantha had a good memory of mom.
The little children were made to feel at ease and not require anything, and the girl and her father did everything in their power to make this happen.
But then the unrecoverable occurred; my father’s sudden bad illness and lymphoma diagnosis were irreparable.
The daughter stopped attending school to care for him. Nowadays, the entire family was going through a difficult time.
Five children under the age of 18 had to be transported to a shelter when the father was gone.
These were the last surviving members of Samantha’s family, thus she just could not allow it to happen.
Samantha enlisted the assistance of her grandmother, who, while being elderly, could offer guidance as she started to teach and look after the younger ones.
Upon the passing of their parents, the family was given benefits, and the daughter was hired as a waitress.
The financial position was quite challenging, but things improved with time.
Samantha may finally finish high school and enroll in college.
She also received domestic assistance from her elder sisters.
She keeps working hard and genuinely wants to set a good example for her sisters and brother.
In return, they adore her and refer to her as “mom-dad.”
