Money may surely make life simpler for many individuals, to the point that it “tempts” even the most honest person at the sight of a significant sum of cash, despite the adage that “money cannot buy happiness.”

There is a woman who is knowledgeable about it from Georgia in the United States.

When she returned more than 500 euros in cash that was discovered in the bag of the sandwich she had purchased for her lunch break at the nearby KFC fast food outlet a few hours earlier, she was thanked by the police.

Bills and a tiny portion of her husband’s medication may be covered by the available funds.

The woman added that her family must pay hefty medical expenditures totaling close to 2 million euros.

She acknowledged that she had given the idea of keeping that amount to herself “for a second” some attention.

Then, though, she made the moral decision to contact the police.

The City of Jackson Police Department commended the individual for her kindness in a message that was published on Facebook.

“Character and integrity are doing the right thing when no one is looking! They put pen to paper.

“The Jackson Police Department would like to recognize Joann Oliver for her integrity and generosity.

The woman’s place of employment was visited by Jackson police a few days ago.

She had taken a lunch break at a KFC restaurant and then eaten at her desk, according to the police.
