When Texas-based couple Natasha and Kirk Hans moved to a small farm in Fort Worth, they wanted to provide their five children and rescue horses with some sort of open space in which they could bond and thrive.
But little did they know that they would end up adding more horses to the family!
The couple discovered there was a brutal horse auction going on and most of the buyers were in the slaughterhouse. They responded to the high demand for horse meat in countries like China, Germany and Switzerland.
Kirk saved two small horses just before they were sent to the slaughterhouse!
Tobias, one of these ponies, showed signs of extreme neglect and abuse. He lowered his head and stared at the floor all day. He avoided family attempts to touch or caress him.
Kirk became seriously concerned as he suspected the horse was seriously depressed.
However, after 2 days, Tobias realized that he was saved and everyone loved him very much. Eventually, he embraced Kirk as his father and hugged him with a sense of relief and happiness.
This is very cute ! It’s good that he started living a good life.
