The pup begged the runner to save him after being dumped in a quiet, secluded spot. He didn’t know where to go and just sat and waited for someone to save him.
When one morning a hungry little puppy encountered the jogger, he was walking along his daily path on the outskirts of town.
The dog was shocked after being abandoned by the owner, who hid behind the bushes.
He understood immediately when he saw the runner watching him to make sure the man was good. So he began to follow him with a wide, sweet smile.
He also pleaded with the runner to pull him to safety, rubbing his nose against his shoes. He knew that she was a good person and that he could certainly help her.
The runner then realized that it was not safe to leave the pup there as it was in a remote wilderness area where no one was around. There was no one there, and there weren’t even any houses, so he decided to take the dog with him and help him.
And finally, he decided to take the puppy home and then feed him. And later he called the local animal shelter, where the dog managed to find a forever home. What a great rescue by a runner!
