The retired police dog couldn’t stop crying after his former owner decided to surprise him and pay him a visit. This heartbreaking scene was filmed and the hearts of netizens melted.
Wangwang, an eight-year-old German shepherd, worked as a search dog at security checkpoints in China’s Sichuan province.
But in June 2019, the loyal dog retired and, of course, he and his owner each went their own way. While Wangwang was adopted by a beloved family, his master continued to work as a patrolman.
So last month he was patrolling the neighborhood when his former furry friend was living and decided to pay him a visit.
It was a heartbreaking reunion for both of them, but Wangwang couldn’t hold back his tears when he noticed the man, his master, whom he loved so much.
Gorgeous footage released by Douchin police in Sichuan shows a retired dog running excitedly towards its owner. Then her tears began to flow.
