Andrea was driving down a deserted road when she saw an injured stray dog asking for help. Andrea stopped and saved the skinny pup, but was heartbroken to see the poor pup keep her broken leg.
Andrea realized that the dog could have been run over and immediately took her to the clinic. However, when Andrea arrived at the clinic, she was shocked to learn that it wasn’t a dog at all!
Andrea learned from the vet that the shy and obedient toddler was actually a wild coyote!
Coyote was in very poor condition and his health was deteriorating due to numerous internal injuries.
Sadly, even after many efforts, the coyote succumbed to his injuries and died after spending 5 days in a wildlife hospital.
Andrea was devastated and haunted by memories of a sweet car ride with an affectionate coyote. It was painful to realize that wildlife never receives medical attention.
Let’s be more kind and empathetic to our wildlife and give them the professional help they need. They need us and we must help them!
