When they first brought their new baby home, they couldn’t imagine how their dog, Lilo, would react.
The thing is that she was used to being the only baby in the house, and when her mother was still pregnant, she did not show any interest.
However, what happened after their meeting really shocked them. She simply greeted her brother with tons of kisses, welcoming him very warmly.
After that day she never left his side and wanted to play with the baby all the time.
Her parents tried to explain that Koa is still young and can’t play fetch with her, but Lilo still didn’t understand them.
Lilo wanted to introduce her brother to her large collection of toys, also teaching him that anything can be a toy if the little one wants it.
Lilo looked forward to playing with her little brother and every time she dropped one of her toys to her sleeping brother to get his attention. She would sit next to her and wait.
Lilo takes her job as a babysitter very seriously, and if she doesn’t bring him toys, she’s probably sleeping next to her brother.
Lilo will have to wait a little longer until the little one is old enough to play with her, but until then, she will continue to proudly fulfill the duties of a big sister.
