“We are answerable for those we have tamed,” is a good proverb.
Exupery taught us that, and for certain people, these sayings go beyond the realm of poetry.
Mikhail, the pet’s owner, told a story of his journey with Victor to his Facebook followers.
A difficult journey it was!
A man and his cat were flying in the direction of Riga, Moscow, and Vladivostok.
From Riga to Moscow, they made it without issue, but the cat was having a hard time handling everything and was quite worried.
Mikhail and his colleague booked into the hotel for the flight from Moscow to Vladivostok when they finally arrived in the city.
The actual issues start to surface at this point.
Victor
Victor’s constant companions were startled to discover a very stern airport employee.
Before expressing interest in the cat, she carefully examined everything else.
Although it required to be taken into account, the outcomes would not be good.
The cat had already put on too much weight before the trip. Due to his weight, which might be up to 10 kg, he might not be able to reach the salon.
Because of this, the airport staff had no intention of allowing Victor board the aircraft; they were going to move him to the luggage area instead.
Making an effort
The man continued to object to the decision made by the airport employees.
He said that because the pressure shift from the previous trip was uncomfortable for the cat as well, the cat might not be able to endure spending so much time in luggage.
The cat’s owner had to keep an eye on it to prevent it from passing out.
Clean up drool, rub the animal’s ears, and even use a cold compress.
Victor would occasionally lose consciousness and run the risk of choking due to his frailty.
He made a request for attention.
Great concept
Then he saw another cat that looked like Victor, and he decided to weigh him again instead of Victor.
And their ploy worked; they were successful!
The fact that they risked everything on their way to be together showed that Mikhail and Viktor could not be separated.
The story was liked by almost 10,000 people, was shared 1,700 times, and had 1,400 comments.
