On her wedding day, her father wasn’t going to be there to dance with her, so she decided to give him a real surprise…
The thing is, Lisa’s father, David, was in the hospital battling quite rare form of cancer, so she canceled all her wedding plans to move the wedding day up a week.
Instead, she got married in a hospital at her father’s. Of course, it was not the wedding that she had always imagined, but her father’s presence was most important to her at that moment.
So, it was the end of August 2014 when Lisa and Robert got married.
Just a few days later, her father David passed away, but Lisa will always cherish that memory and never forget their father-daughter dance…
“I said, ‘Dad, I want to dance with you,'” Lisa recalled. “He told me he couldn’t dance,” and I said, “You don’t have to, because I want to dance with your hands.”
After that, he said to his daughter’s husband. “Rob, you’re the lucky one because you got my daughter.”
It was so heart touching…
