Robert sighed in pain as he watched his classmates play basketball. He felt bad because he always wanted to become a famous player. He aspired to represent his school in tournaments, but no one took him seriously.
People had always thought of the boy as an ordinary spectator because no one thought he would be able to play or run with his prosthetic leg. Robert was born with a deformed leg and was disabled.
He looked at them with tears in his eyes and dreamed of one day playing in their team. They thought their team would lose with Robert.
At the end of the lesson, Robert congratulated all of the winners, picked up his backpack, and walked slowly to the bus stop on his crutches.
The bus arrived 5 minutes later. Rоbert waited for the others to sit down because he didn’t want to be called a bastard. He hated having derogatory comments made to him everywhere.
He walked towards the handicapped space reserved for Robert. He was an ordinary person like everyone else. The driver also knew Rоbert’s mother well, a single mother abandoned by her ex-husband.

Harry told his wife about his extramarital affair, broke her heart and soon after broke up with her.
Robert lost his happiness and his childhood with his father. He felt lonely and unloved, but he endured it all for his mother’s sake.
He always remembered the words of his father, who said that you should never give up and that you should work hard. You don’t have to let others stop you from achieving your dream. These words always gave the boy strength and made him endure hardship.
It had been five years since Rоbert had not seen his father, who remained in contact with his son only thanks to the money he passed on to them. He married his mistress and had two other children.
Harry dedicated his new family to a fairy tale life, leaving behind his adoring ex-wife and son.
As the bus braked, Robert snapped back to reality. He stopped at the next station where new passengers boarded and a woman was last in line. In his hand was a pram in which a child was sleeping soundly.
Robert saw the woman pushing her pram and asking the people inside to help her lift it. However, the passengers pretended not to notice him, so the boy went to help him without thinking.
He helped the woman and within minutes the stroller was already inside.
The woman smiled and thanked him. She didn’t know Rоbert had trouble walking until she noticed he was on crutches. He even offered his wife to sit in his place.
The woman was very touched by the boy’s kindness and introduced herself to him as Sandra. He saw the small basketball chain attached to the boy’s backpack and asked him if he liked playing basketball.
A small spark of joy lit up in Rоbert’s eyes and he replied that he loved him very much and that he would like to be a famous basketball player. He said he used to play with his father every day, but one day he left them.
Sandra said her husband was also a basketball player. It was time for them to get off the bus. Robert wanted to help her, but she refused, saying they were waiting for her downstairs.
Robert was already preparing to get off at the next stop. The next day was Saturday, he was watching another basketball game on his mother’s laptop when someone knocked on the door. A tall, muscular man walked in, standing with a basketball.
The man smiled at him and handed Rоbert the ball and the jerseys.
“Champion, get ready for practice. I came to train you. Don’t you want to represent your school in the next state game?
Robert couldn’t believe all of this was happening to him. This man was Sandra’s husband, Jacob. He was a former basketball player and came to help the boy. They found his address at school and decided to surprise him.
