Lucie and Sally are very loyal friends. They met in an orphanage and quickly became friends, even went to a foster family together. When someone wanted to adopt Lucie, it was clear the two were a band, so the woman adopted them both!
We don’t know much about their history. Lucie arrived at the orphanage when she was a few years old and Sally was still a puppy. They got along well and Lucie loved Sally like her own son.
A few months ago Alena Brinton said goodbye to her older dog and a few months later she was ready to open her heart to someone new. Lucie caught his eye, so she called the shelter to see if she could meet.
“I saw a picture of Lucie at my local relief office and just needed to meet her,” Brinton said. “When I called they said she had been put up with another dog and they would like me to meet her friend as well.”
She certainly had no intention of adopting two dogs, but she realized how close Lucie and Sally were and knew she would be devastated without each other. But Brinton was fascinated by Sally.
“I fell in love immediately. Besides, it was obvious that Sally was turning to Lucie to show her what was wrong and what was wrong, and I wouldn’t have had the heart to separate them. ”
Both dogs were nervous in their new home and relied heavily on each other to deal with the sudden changes.
“They settled in together and found a new daily routine in the team. It was great and I think having each other’s company made the transition much easier for both of them. strong.
Whether it’s playing, relaxing, or sleeping in their Kentucky home, the two do it together.
“They are friends forever. Lucie licks Sally’s forehead and he looks so happy.
“When he’s walking around the dog park, Sally comes back and checks on Lucy every two minutes,” Brinton said.
“He greets her, walks with her for a bit, then leaves. She doesn’t seem to care.
Lucie recently went out and disappeared. Fortunately, she is long gone and, curiously, she found herself in the middle of the orphanage!
Even weirder, however, is that Sally didn’t go after her! So obviously, they don’t do everything together.
