She could not pass by him indifferently, which apparently was also a result of the fact that she recently became a mother. She decided to buy food for him and started talking to him.
The poor man told her about the problems in his life, and the lady learned that the poor man had many difficulties.
His mother died of cancer, after which he became a drug addict after which ended up on the street.
Imagine what a difficult life he went through, which moved the lady too.
When they had finished their conversation and lady was about to leave, the man suddenly took her by the hand, asking her to wait a minute.
At that moment he wrote something on a piece of paper, giving it to her, who took it mechanically and put it into her pocket to read in the car.
There was written the following: “Today I had decided to commit suicide, but the meeting with you made me change my mind. Now I want to say thank you, kind lady.”
Just try imagine how the lady felt when she read that sentence…
