Souparnika Nair’s dream has always been to get a standing ovation for her performance on a well-known show. When she recently participated in an audition for Britain’s Got Talent, this dream came true.
During her audition on BGT, Simon Cowell stops her seconds after she begins to sing Judy Garland’s “Trolley Song.” She is asked to stop singing after the judge raises his hand.
Poor 10-year-old thought the song was wrong. However, Simon had a different idea. He tells Nair that despite his love for her, he doesn’t like the song.
The contestant is then asked to perform The Greatest Showman Ever’s “Never Enough” song. Nair first became interested in music at a very young age.
When she was just six years old, she started taking singing lessons. The family decided to get her to audition for the show because she was a BGT fan.
Because he is aware that Nair can sing songs with higher notes, Simon asks Nair to sing a different song. He also believed that it would assist them in making an accurate assessment of her singing style.
When she begins to sing the song “Never Enough,” there is some hesitation in her voice. However, she quickly recovers and hits all of the music’s notes.
David says to her after her performance, “That is a mountain of a song, and you have conquered it,” when it comes time for feedback.
“I cannot get my head around the fact that you’re 10 years old, standing like a little professional,” Alesha says. Amanda tells Nair that she likes the contestant’s old-fashioned voice and that the contestant hits every note.
Simon tells the 10-year-old, “Souparnika, you absolutely nailed it” at the end. Nair advances to the next round after scoring four “Yeses.”
