A veteran who wasn’t able buy groceries started crying when he heard “It’s our turn now”…

LIFE STORIES

We need to thank all our veterans who have done so much for us․ Լuckily there is one thing we can do for them.

This story, which we have prepared for you, is really very touching and will definitely melt your hearts too.

When the news crew heard about this veteran’s plight, they knew they had to help him…

They wanted to do something special, so they decided to pick random customers by paying for their groceries.

Dave Hall, who led the team, approached people who were just leaving the store, asking them if they could pay for their groceries.

So every day they gave people smiles with their kindness. Seeing all of this, employees also helped them pointing them out to the people who needed help the most.

They brightened every person’s day they met. One day, Dave met Stephanie, who was a disabled veteran.

When he approached the woman, she explained that she was buying food for herself and her dogs and not having much financial support, she was really struggling.

So they decided to pay for the groceries she bought. Stephanie just couldn’t be more grateful.

Then they noticed a man behind Stephanie, asking if he was the woman’s husband and it turned out that the man was her husband’s friend.

His name was Larry, who was also a veteran and unfortunately tragically lost his 3 brothers.

He was standing with a bar of soap and bread in his hand at that moment, so Dave couldn’t let him leave the store like that.

“You’ve served us and now it’s our turn to serve you,” Dave told the veteran. Hearing those words, Larry’s eyes filled with tears.

The group then filled the veteran’s cart to the brim with food and other things, and when they finished, Larry remarked that he had never spent so much on groceries.

That meant so much to Larry and he thanked Dave from the bottom of his heart.

Thank you for everything you do, kind people. The value of a moment is somethin that will never fade away…
