Usually John and his husband keep their sons out of the media, but the “Rocket Man” singer shared a rare photo of Furnish, her sons and godmother Lady Gaga. The singer expressed his grief that he could not pose with them, but still sent his greetings.

Raising children in the spotlight
John talked about how his relationship with money changed when he became a parent. As a father of two, he finds it more valuable to spend time with Zachary and Elijah than a hit or a painting.
The singer confessed that he and Furnish spent a lot of money before having children, because they were used to a life where they were the center of attention. But since the arrival of their sons, John said, they have significantly reduced expenses.

John is well aware that his children are already leading a comfortable life, but still wants them to remain modest. That’s why the singer has no intention of leaving all his fortune to you.
He wants to give his children a good life and at the same time keep them down to earth. “Of course, I want to leave a very stable financial situation for my guys. But it’s terrible to give a silver spoon to children. It’s ruining their lives,” he explained.
Even when the boys were little, John tried to teach them the value of money. During an interview, the “I Am Still Standing” singer was asked about his fears about raising his children in the spotlight.
John was well aware of the negative aspects of growing up in the spotlight, but since his sons were still young, he and Furnish talked a lot about how they would protect them.
At the age of five and three, Zachary and Elijah may not have known how famous their parents were, but John and Furnish, among other things, taught them how to spend and save money.
The singer said that she received 3 pounds (about $ 3.74) of pocket money for doing household chores or gardening. Then each coin was divided between charity, savings and expenses.
Their duties included cleaning up their room as a child, and for each completed task they received a star. The couple understands that their children will not have a normal childhood, but still tries to maintain some normality in their lives.
In addition to educating about money, the singer and her husband wanted their children to enjoy time with the family even outside their home.
